Accuracy disclaimer — please read
Map Measurer provides distance, radius, area and elevation figures calculated from public map and terrain data. These results are provided for general information and guidance only. While we use sound geometric methods, the figures are estimates and their accuracy depends on the underlying map data, the projection of a curved Earth onto a flat screen, the resolution of the terrain model, and how precisely points are placed.
You should not rely on Map Measurer as the sole basis for any decision where precision matters — including, but not limited to, legal property boundaries, construction, navigation, surveying, aviation, marine use, or anything affecting safety. For those purposes, use a qualified professional survey or an official source. Map Measurer is not a substitute for professional advice.
Use of the tool
- You may use Map Measurer for personal and commercial purposes, free of charge.
- You must not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, overload the third-party map, search or elevation providers it relies on, or use it in any unlawful way.
- The tool relies on third-party services (map tiles, place search and elevation data). We can't guarantee these are always available or error-free, and features may change or be interrupted.
No warranty
Map Measurer is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Map Measurer and its operators will not be liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tool or its results, including any reliance placed on a measurement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Intellectual property
The Map Measurer name, site design, written guides and original content are the property of their owner and may not be copied or republished without permission. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, map tiles © CARTO, and elevation data is provided by Open-Meteo, each under their own licences and terms.
